Cooperation
In BUMM, KRACH, BOING!, Theater THIKWA and GRIPS embark on an imaginative and visually rich exploration of our coexistence. They ask 'Who's in charge here? And who is not? Above all, their bodies go on a search. What it means to be part of something. Or not. To make rules. Or having to abide by them. To set the tone. Or to be an accompaniment. In this ensemble production, a diverse group of players approach various scenarios of power/lack of power and (super)powers. In a musical, humorous and playful way, they zoom into the everyday situations of children and other everyday heroes, with plenty of space to find themselves in the stories.
The "Interplay" project
BUMM, KRACH, BOING! is the culmination of the joint work of THIKWA and GRIPS, who have been cooperating for three years as "Zusammenspiel" and investigating inclusion as a natural practice as part of the pik project of the German Federal Cultural Foundation.
