Oana Cîrpanu

Oana Cîrpanu has been working as a theater educator at the GRIPS Theater since 2018 and heads the youth club Banda Agita. Under her artistic direction, productions with young people between the ages of 15 and 23 have been created every year since then, which have been performed several times at GRIPS Podewil in the respective seasons. Many productions have won multiple awards and been invited to festivals.

Before that, she worked as a freelance theater educator, director and actress, mainly in Vienna and Zurich, including at the Volkstheater Vienna and the Junges Schauspielhaus Zurich. She studied educational science (B.A.) at the University of Vienna and theater pedagogy (M.A.) at the Berlin University of the Arts.
