Regine Seidler was born on March 6, 1970, in Leipzig; she grew up in East Berlin, where she graduated from high school in 1988.
She worked as a nurse to save up for medical school, but became increasingly passionate about theater. Regine spent the time leading up to her studies working as a radio producer at DT64.

Intense years of acting at the theaters in Neustrelitz and Rostock; her encounter with director Horst Hawemann was particularly formative.
With the birth of her first son, Regine is drawn back to her favorite city, Berlin, and to the GRIPS Theater, where she has been performing, debating, and helping to shape the theater since 1998—with some interruptions. She particularly enjoys working with directors Frank Panhans, Franziska Steiof, Robert Neumann, and Sabine Trötschel.
On the side, she has taken on various film and TV roles, including from 2006–2008 in the RTL series “Alles was zählt” (playing the role of Nadja Roschinski), performed for a season at the Theater Baden-Baden, taught acting at the Film University Potsdam, and coached for auditions and castings.
In 2019/20, Regine began studying “Creating Dance in Art and Education” part-time at Tanztangente/UdK Berlin. Since then, she has been developing various workshop formats to get people of all ages moving, including at the TanzRaum at the Cornus-Remise in Weißensee.
Regine is the mother of two adult sons.
