Make your child's birthday an unforgettable experience! We invite children aged 5 and over to our Saturday afternoon performances to celebrate their birthday with us at Hansaplatz. There is also a special highlight: an exciting guided tour of the stage or an inspiring follow-up talk - especially for your group of up to 10 children.

Be the very first! This format allows all families to celebrate the premiere of a new play with us directly after the first performance and, for example, to get into conversation with the actors* during an exclusive autograph session or a follow-up discussion.

In this gripping intimate play, we follow Nim and Saffa as they fight for their mother in very different ways. Their mother is actually sitting on the roof, singing, and won't come down. Nim wants to go to the youth welfare office and hopes to get a foster father - just like in the musical. Saffa, on the other hand, is doing everything she can to keep her family together in its current form.

"Mats & Milad" - based on the novel by Eva Rottmann - is a gripping theater experience about identity, falling in love for the first time and having the courage to stand up for what is right when it counts.

Berlin paediatricians prescribe a visit to the theater for their patients - as medicine for the soul.

Since 2011, the GRIPS Theater has been implementing the “Theater on Prescription” project together with the State Association of Paediatricians and Adolescent Doctors in Berlin, and since 2017 it has been sponsored by the “mehr grips!” association as “GRIPS Theater on Prescription”. It is now being relaunched after the coronavirus break and, thanks to additional funding from “Paritätischer” Berlin, more practices can be added as partners in 2023.
