Nils Thalmann was born in Frankfurt am Main in 1999.
He moved to Munich in 2019 to study at the Otto Falckenberg drama school. During his studies, he appeared in various productions at the Münchner Kammerspiele, including “DIE DRITTE GENERATION” (director: Charlotte Sprenger), “FREIHEIT...DIE ICH MEINE” (director: Georgette Dee) and the live radio play RÜCKENWIND (director: Frauke Poolman).
After graduating, he performed at the inclusive theater “Freie Bühne München” in “DER MEISTER UND MARGARITA” (director: Martin Kindervater) and at the Münchner Volkstheater in the world premiere LICHTSPIEL (director: Christian Stückl).
In addition to the theater, Nils regularly works as a dubbing actor and is in front of the camera. For example, he appeared in the feature film PETTING STATT PERSHING (director: Petra Lüschow) and the short fiction film LANGER LANGER KUSS (director: Lukas Röder), which premiered at the Berlinale in 2023.
Nils Thalmann will begin his first permanent engagement at the GRIPS Theater in the 2025/2026 season.
