Jessica Weisskirchen

Jessica Weisskirchrchen realized the productions DIE TONIGHT, LIVE FOREVER or The Principle Nosferatu by Sivan Ben Yishai during her time as an assistant at the National Theatre Mannheim, and directed Ein Körper für jetzt und heute by Mehdi Moradpour.

Since then, she has been working as a freelance director, among others at Die Andere Welt Bühne Strausberg with productions such as Die Physiker and Zickwolf after Büchner’s Woyzeck.

After her successful staging of Georg Büchner’s Woyzeck in the 2022/23 season, she is working for the second time at Schauspiel Dortmund, continuing her re-exploration of canonical material with Queens (working title).

She is a volunteer member of the assistierenden-netzwerk and the initiator of the assistant festival SUMMER UP.

Since 2020, she has also been studying Theatre and Orchestra Management part-time at the HfMDK in Frankfurt am Main.
