Ute Volknant

Ute Volknant studied German, sociology and English in Heidelberg and Freiburg im Breisgau.
This is followed by a job as a freelance journalist (Radio Freiburg FR1, Ästhetik & Kommunikation, F.A.Z., Süddeutsche Zeitung), public relations work at the Schaubühne Berlin, editing for the publishing house Autorenagentur in Frankfurt am Main, dramaturgy on various stages, among others for Kampnagel Hamburg (JAK), the Darmstadt State Theatre, for XX/projekt at the Sophiensælen Berlin and the Theater am Halleschen Ufer Berlin. She has been a dramaturge at GRIPS Theater since 1999.
