Lara Schützsack

born in Hamburg in 1981, studied German, General and Comparative Literature and American Literature and Culture at the University of Potsdam. She went on to study screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. Her screenplays, plays and children's books have won several awards, including the Berlin Children's Theater Prize (2023), the Paul Maar Prize for Young Talent - Korbinian (2019) and the Oldenburg Children's and Youth Book Prize (2014).
