Jutta Brinkschulte

Born 1971 in Munich. Studied “Language, Economic and Cultural Area Studies” at the University of Passau, specializing in German and French cultural areas After graduating, she was approached at the Tollwood Festival by cultural manager and event organizer Till Hofmann, asking if she would like to do “a bit of advertising for his theater”. This was followed by several years as head of PR and media and assistant to the management at Munich's Lustspielhaus. Jutta Brinkschulte moved to Berlin at the end of 2000 and worked for fifteen years as a freelancer for various companies, institutions and agencies, mainly in the fields of design, film, trade fairs and theater. Clients include: Münchner Lach- und Schießgesellschaft, e27 Berlin, Berlin International Film Festival, Cinecittà Luce. When the International Design Center Berlin (IDZ) was looking for a new director in 2015, she joined as Operational Director and is responsible for all administrative and commercial matters in the three-person management team until the end of 2024. Project and business development, networking and member care are further focal points of her work. Since the end of 2022, Jutta Brinkschulte has been Deputy Chairwoman of the “Sustainable Metropolis” committee of the IHK Berlin.
