Jacqueline Reddington

(*1992) is a German-American theater director who grew up in Belgium and Luxembourg, among other countries. From 2010 to 2014, she studied theater and performance at Bard College in New York. She then studied at the École Jacques Lecoq in Paris. In 2015, she began her directing studies at the Otto Falckenberg School in Munich. During this time, she directed FINNISCH (Münchner Kammerspiele, 2018, invited to the OUTNOW! festival) and her final production GLÄSERNE BIENEN (Münchner Kammerspiele, 2019). Away from the stage, she has realized several projects in public space, including at the Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. Since graduating, she has directed at the Nationaltheater Mannheim, Staatstheater Wiesbaden, Stadttheater Ingolstadt and Staatsschauspiel Dresden, among others. "Upload Virgin" is her first work for GRIPS.
