Eva Rottmann

Eva Rottmann studied performing arts and film at the Zurich University of the Arts. Her first play “Eidechsen und Salamander” was awarded the Kathrin Türks Prize of the Landestheater Burghofbühne Dinslaken and the German-Dutch youth drama prize Kaas und Kappes. Her play “Die Eisbärin” was nominated for the Mülheimer KinderStückePreis in 2019. Her first young adult novel “Mats & Milad oder: Nachrichten vom Arsch der Welt” received the Kranichstein Children's and Youth Literature Scholarship from the German Literature Fund in 2022. She published the picture book “Die Prinzessin, die ausogog, den Prinzen zu retten” and the young adult novel “Kurz vor dem Rand”, with which she was nominated for the Swiss Young Adult Book Prize in 2024.
