unfortunately, group bookings are not currently possible online. We would be happy to plan your theatre trip together with you.

    • Please test in the morning at your institution. A test certificate for the whole group of pupils is sufficient.
    • For adults, the 2G + test or booster vaccination applies. For accompanying persons of school classes or day-care groups, the daily school/day-care test is sufficient.
    • On weekday mornings, we only play for school classes/daycare groups. You are also welcome to book for an evening event.
    • Each group has its own seating area. You will be seated, there is no free choice of seats. Unfortunately, this means that we still have less capacity than before Corona.

    • Day care centre performances are for day care centre groups only. There is no obligation for children to wear masks or to take tests. However, we strongly recommend both.
  • Families

    Dear families,
we know how difficult it is to organise a visit to the theatre with children. We try very hard to make the rules as feasible as possible and are delighted that so many of you still come to see us. We would be delighted to welcome you to an event at the weekend, in the evening or during the school holidays.

    The following applies:

    • For adults: 2G + citizen test or booster vaccination.
Please also have a photo ID ready.
    • For pupils* under 18 years: 3G regulation.
In this context, the student ID card (or an antigen test, not older than 24h; or a PCR test, not older than 48h) still counts as proof of testing.
Please note: For the school holidays in Berlin, student IDs do NOT count as proof of testing. A current citizenship test or PCR test is required.
    • Children up to 6 years of age who are not required to attend school are still exempt from the testing and masking requirement. We recommend wearing a medical mask and additionally an antigen test.
  • Evening events

    Dear audience,
We would be delighted to welcome you to a performance in the evening, at the weekend or during the Berlin school holidays.
The following rules currently apply to a visit to the theatre:

    For adults
2G + current citizenship test (or valid PCR test). People who are already boostered do not need an additional test.
Please also have a photo ID ready.

For persons under 18 years of age
the 3G-regulation applies plus mask obligation and distance in the entire house, also during the performance (medical masks, from 4th grade FFP2 masks recommended). We additionally recommend an antigen test.
In this context, the student ID card (or an antigen test, not older than 24h; or a PCR test, not older than 48h) is still valid as proof of testing.
Please note: for the school holidays in Berlin, student ID cards do NOT count as proof of testing. A current citizen test or PCR test is required.

    For school classes
Please test in the morning at your institution. One test certificate for the whole group of pupils is sufficient. For adults, 2G + test or booster vaccination applies. For accompanying persons of school classes or daycare groups, the daily school test is sufficient.

    2. Masks are compulsory in the building, as well as in your seats during the performance.

    3. Flows of people are organised in such a way that as few encounters as possible take place in the theatre building.

    4. All stagings are adapted to ensure a distance of 1.5m between the performers and the audience, singing elements in performances have been reduced and staged with a distance of 4m to the audience.

    5. The ventilation system supplies 13000m3/h of outside air – sufficient for a load of 300 people, additionally, rooms are thoroughly ventilated before events. Currently 199 people is the audience limit in the GRIPS Theater.

    6. The seats and usual contact points (door handles, stair railings, tray in front of the box office, tables) are disinfected before every event.

    7. Hand disinfectant is available at the entrance and in the WC areas.
